Barber Fabrication is a metal fabrication studio rooted in artistry and precision.

Founded by Austin Barber in 2016, Barber Fabrication specializes in architectural steel, custom furniture, door and window systems, and art fabrication. Whether bringing a rough sketch to life or engineering large-scale installations, Barber Fabrication is known for turning raw ideas into beautifully executed, highly functional works.

From bespoke furnishings to complex architectural builds, every piece is approached with a sculptor’s eye and a builder’s discipline. The shop has collaborated with leading contemporary artists, including Lauren Halsey, Derek Forjour, Ishi Glinsky, and Regina Mamou, and has produced custom furniture for celebrity clients across North America.

Austin Barber comes from generations of builders. His grandfather ran Stanley Construction, which built bridges still standing across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. His father pioneered experimental geodesic dome homes from Colorado to Arkansas through Barber Construction. Today, Austin carries that legacy forward—fusing craftsmanship and innovation.

Barber Fabrication serves clients all over North America, operating out of a workshop hand-built by Austin and his team overlooking the Tehachapi Mountains in Southern California.
